We’ve included campground details, site types suitable for each of our Montana Escapes rental vehicles, and dates for the 2025 season.

Canyon Campground
Centrally located in Canyon Village, near the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, known for its wooded setting.
Season:
- Opening: May 30, 2025 (Early season dates (May 30 to June 5) are first-come, first-served)
- Closing: September 21, 2025

Bridge Bay Campground
Popular with fishing and boating enthusiasts, located near Bridge Bay Marina on Yellowstone Lake. Scenic, wooded areas, open meadows with some limited views of the lake.

- Opening: May 16, 2025 (Early season dates (May 16 to May 22) are first-come, first-served)
- Closing: September 1, 2025

Grant Village Campground
A relaxing setting on the southwest shore of Yellowstone Lake, with easy access to the West Thumb Geyser Basin.
Season:
- Opening: June 6, 2025* (Early season dates (June 6 to June 12) are first-come, first-served)
- Closing: September 14, 2025

Madison Campground
Near the Madison River, known for great fishing, convenient to Old Faithful and geyser basins.

Fishing Bridge RV Park
Newly renovated RV park, located near the mouth of the Yellowstone River.
Season:
- Opening: May 9, 2025
- Closing: October 11, 2025
Site Types: Hard-sided RV sites only (no tents)
Suitable for:
- Coachmen Prism: Hard-sided RV Site 30-40 ft.
