FAQ

Can I get airport pickup?
We do not offer airport pickup since reviewing equipment is easier at our location, and it provides more flexibility for pickup and drop-off. Bozeman has Uber and Lyft, and we are just 11 miles (about 20 minutes) from the airport.

What are your hours?
Our hours are 8 AM to 8 PM. Pickup time is 3 PM, and drop-off time is 11 AM.

Can I pick up my rental early or drop it off late?
If a vehicle is rented the night before your pickup or on the day of your drop-off, we must follow normal pickup (3 PM) and drop-off (11 AM) times. However, we offer a half-day option for pickups or drop-offs 3-12 hours outside normal hours, which must be purchased in advance.

How does the half-day option work?
When you reserve a half-day, we block that time on our calendar, preventing another rental from overlapping. This allows you to hit the road earlier or return the vehicle later to enjoy your last day. The cost is half the daily rental rate.

Do you allow pickups or drop-offs at night?
We value our family time, so pickups or drop-offs outside our 8 AM – 8 PM business hours require a $50 fee.

How do you calculate daily mileage?
We set a mileage limit based on what’s reasonable for a trip from Bozeman to the parks. Mileage overage fees help cover vehicle wear and tear on longer trips. You can check the limit by hovering over the mileage on the listing. Overage fees: Jeep Patriot – $0.35/mile, Jeep Wrangler – $0.65/mile, Coachmen Prism – $0.75/mile.

Do you charge for cleaning?
There is no charge for standard cleaning as long as the vehicle is returned in good condition. We ask renters to clean the vehicle before returning it, but we always wash and sanitize bedding, cookware, and surfaces after every rental.

If extraordinary cleaning is needed, we charge a $75 fee for Jeeps or $125 fee for the Prism plus any additional costs for equipment rentals, such as a steam cleaner.

Is smoking allowed in the vehicles?

No, smoking is strictly prohibited in all our vehicles due to the extensive cleaning required. If a vehicle is returned with a strong smoke odor (excluding campfire smoke), a $150 cleaning fee will be charged, along with any lost revenue due to additional cleaning time.

Do you allow pets in your vehicles?

No, we do not allow pets in our vehicles. Pets are heavily restricted in Yellowstone—they cannot go on boardwalks, hiking trails, in the backcountry, or in thermal areas—which limits their ability to join most adventures. Additionally, we must keep our vehicles allergen-free for all guests. Thank you for understanding!

Do you offer one-way rentals or delivery?
We do not offer one-way rentals, as returning the vehicle to Bozeman would require two drivers and two vehicles, making it impractical and costly. Delivery is sometimes possible for stationary rentals, such as an RV or trailer used in one location, especially in the off-season. If you need a stationary rental, contact us with details.

How much propane does the camping stove use on a # day trip?
We provide two 1 lb propane bottles per trip. Usage depends on cooking time, similar to a grill with a 20 lb tank. Longer simmering meals use more gas. Most park grocery stores sell propane, or you can purchase extra from us as an add-on—pay only for what you use.
